Maria Kari is an award-winning human rights lawyer and writer. Born in Pakistan and raised in Saudi Arabia, Maria went to law school in Canada. After a brief stint in big law, Maria moved to the United States and received her LLM from Georgetown University. She lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and two kids. Maria is committed to justice for all, particularly the most vulnerable, marginalized, and oppressed.
